Spiritual Keys

David Giffin, an Elder at Bonhomme Presbyterian Church in Chesterfield, wrote a booklet entitled “The Spiritual Keys to a Successful Job search” for a group of the unemployed.

Dave had lost his own job and and sought help from the bible. He wrote the booklet so others would be better able to understand how the bible can help to deal with major difficulties. The booklet is out of print now, but he has given permission to put an Adobe Acrobat version (2.1 MB) on our website. The link will open a new window.

He also developed a PowerPoint presentation (97 KB) that summarizes the booklet. The link will open a new window. Left click on the slide to advance to the next slide.

One of the key principles in the booklet is that God knows what job He has in mind for us to be in. Our job it to turn the worry and concern over to Him and just do our job of seeking out that job. Turning your worry and concern over to God frees you up to concentrate on going after the job God has in mind for us.
